Our new Arizona engineering office gives us a location that supports the industrial manufacturing boom in the Southwestern U.S.

“We may just be the Goldilocks fit you’re looking for,” says Ilenn Johnson, an Arizona-based Process Engineer.

In 2025, we returned to Volleman's Family Farm in Texas, a dairy farm we first supported in 2019 with a milk bottling plant producing A2A2 glass bottle milk. Our team is currently expanding the pasteurizer, upgrading tanks, and adding a CIP system for a new ice cream plant. Later, our team will install conveyors and custom equipment.

Mohawk Technology has expanded facilities in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin, enhancing in-house capabilities. "This shop helps us meet the needs of large dairy plant expansions and renovations,” says Lars Peterson, Head of Process Group Sales.

Sometimes our employees - temporarily - swap the office for a Little League field. Jay Isaacson coached the Mohawk Technology team along with Kevin Keranen and Frank Bonacorsi. The kids had a fun season, winning all their games except the last one, producing the mixed emotions in the photo. Perhaps a good life lesson that goes beyond the ball field.

Thanks to the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association for another great event! We enjoyed connecting with dairy industry customers and partners from across the region at the annual WCMA Golf Outing and Trap Shoot.

Our growing company gathered again over the summer in Mohawk, MI for the 9th Annual Mohawk Technology Summit. Workshops help the team adjust to changing realities in the dairy industry, and we found time for a little fun with golf, mountain biking, and saunas.

Mohawk Technology partnered with a cheese plant to install a custom brine makeup system, efficiently replacing their old aging system with minimal disruption. This upgrade allows the cheesemaker to precisely control moisture and salt levels for different production lines, enhancing automation while preserving the human touch essential for premium cheese production.

Mohawk Technology proudly supported the United States Championship Cheese Contest at CheeseCon in Madison, Wisconsin, with winning bids on Gold Medal cheese products. Funds raised benefit vital education and research initiatives for the industry's future.

Congratulations to the Calumet High School Copperbots Robotics Team that qualified for and participated in the First World Championship in Houston, Texas! According to the team's robotics coach Todd Waurio, it was a life-changing and unforgettable event for the kids. We’re happy to be one of a number of local companies supporting the team.

Another great Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association CheeseCon in the books! We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with our partners across the industry. A highlight was participating in the Championship Cheese Auction, which does important work in supporting the future of the dairy industry.

Mohawk Technology worked with a customer to design a custom robotic cell to efficiently palletize 20-pound cheese rounds. The system incorporates dual stretch wrappers for secure containment, precise laser sensing to verify product integrity, and an automatic pallet feeder to increase efficiency. This reduces labor requirements while improving production output.

Mohawk Technology recently supplied a new intake at a dairy customer’s cheese plant. The project consisted of 7 receiving bays with hose management and mixproof milk handling systems as well as a CIP system and storage silos. Everything from the digital reporting and RFID scanners to the size and placement of equipment is optimized for efficient trucker turnarounds.

Count us in for a cheese and dairy event in our own backyard; it's just a short drive from our Minneapolis office to the NCCIA Annual Conference in Bloomington.

We still prefer face-to-face as our favorite way to conduct business, and the Cheese Expo in Milwaukee brings our industry together.

This Staubli 6-axis robot works alongside the Scara robot in a hygienic food environment to automate food packaging for one of our dairy industry customers.

For a recent project, our Process Shop built the CIP tanks that were then installed on-site by our Process Engineers and Installation Crew.

The new shop building in Menahga, MN provides more storage space for receiving, check-in, and the shipping of process equipment.

The combined work of our engineers, fabrication shop, and process welders resulted in this brine makeup system being shipped from our Menahga, Minnesota location recently.
