We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our growing team. The Process Engineer will work closely with other Process Engineers, Controls Engineers, Process Installation and Fabrication, vendors, and customers. In this role, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes in food and dairy plants across the country. You will leverage your engineering expertise to design and implement custom dairy processing solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work with the project team to develop and implement customer-driven manufacturing process improvements.
Analyze and optimize existing dairy processing systems to increase efficiency, yield, and product quality.
Collaborate with all groups in our team, including controls/automation, mechanical, fabrication and installation.
Specify, create, and manage the bill of materials for our systems
Use AutoCAD Plant 3D to create 2D process and instrumentation diagrams as well as 3D models
Work with customers to clearly understand and define the solution we are providing them.
Work closely with vendors to specify and order the components for our systems.
Assist senior engineers in the execution and installation of systems of all types and sizes.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in dairy process engineering.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards (3-A, FDA, PMO, ANSI, ASME)
Operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers
Must satisfactorily comply with alcohol and controlled substance company policies
Travel 30% of the time
Within the continental United States (CONUS) majority of the time and rarely outside of the CONUS
Typically for 9 days at a time, but could be shorter or longer based on project need
Driving a vehicle to customer and/or Mohawk Technology locations
Flying to customer locations

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related experience.
Experience working in a sanitary manufacturing environment.
Basic experience in AutoCAD or equivalent for creating/modifying process schematics
Ability to read/understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
Understanding of fluid dynamics, pump sizing, and heat transfer related to piping systems
3D Modeling/Piping Experience
2D Process and Instrument Drawings Experience
Knowledge of design and fabrication of stainless steel equipment
Project management experience/skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft products
Knowledge of Food/Dairy Industry

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Installation Leader to join our growing team at one of our Midwest office locations including Mohawk, MI, Menahga, MN, Delano, MN, or Siren, WI. The Electrical Installation Leader will work with Leadership, Project Teams, and Subcontractors to optimize and efficiently execute Mohawk Technology’s onsite electrical installation workload. In this role, you will play a key role in improving and executing Mohawk Technology’s Electrical Installation vision for our projects and customers.
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire Mohawk Technology Electrical Installation Process
Execute Mohawk Technology’s Electrical Installation vision
Work with leadership on strategic long-term plans for onsite electrical resources and capital expenditures
Manage the employees within the electrical installation group
Build, expand, and manage relationships between Mohawk Technology and subcontracted electrician resources
Order necessary material to execute electrical installations
Work with customers to plan out the electrical installation and work around the customer’s 24/7 manufacturing schedule
Set, manage, and maintain the overall Mohawk Technology electrical installation workflow
Work with operations to set, align, and manage electrical installation schedules based on overall project schedules.
Work with onsite electrical resources to ensure that all electrical installation jobs meet Mohawk Technology’s quality standard
Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical installations are complete efficiently and on schedule
Must satisfactorily comply with alcohol and controlled substance company policies
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers
Travel estimated at 40-50%. Travel includes but is not limited to the following:
Attending quarterly off-site leadership meetings
Regular trips to job sites during electrical installations

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Installation Foreman to join our team at our Siren, WI shop. This position requires full-time travel to customer sites. The Process Installation Foreman will lead and coordinate the installation of process systems at customer sites. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in pipe fitting and welding, and the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Must be willing and able to relocate to the Siren, WI area.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage pipe fitters and process welders, including subcontractors, in a manufacturing environment
Work with customers, project managers, and engineers
Ensure quality control and that installations meet project specifications
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or delays on the job site
Manage materials and inventory on job sites
Train and mentor other team members
Pipe fitting and sanitary stainless TIG welding
Read and fabricate systems from P&ID drawings
Operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers
Full-time travel required

We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at our Delano or Menahga, MN office. We are open to making the Mohawk, MI location work for the right candidate. The Senior Controls Engineer will lead controls-related projects from start to finish. In this role, you'll be responsible for design, parts ordering, and making sure projects are on schedule and successful. You'll work with other engineers and customers and occasionally travel with the sales team for proposals.
Role and Responsibilities
Mentoring other controls engineers
Leading controls-related projects ranging from 40 to 2,000+ hours
Designing electrical and network systems and reviewing electrical drawing packages
PLC and HMI programming
Working with the panel shop on control panels
Collaborating with various groups of engineers and customers
Must satisfactorily comply with alcohol and controlled substance company policies
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Traveling estimated at 20-30%

Network/communication design experience
Ability to specify electrical components of a control system

$75k - $120k+ based on experience
