Mohawk Technology Continues Dairy Industry Support

2025 CheeseCon Cheese Auction Mohawk Technology

Madison, Wis.— Mohawk Technology again supported the United States Championship Cheese Contest with winning bids on Gold Medal cheese products at Cheese Con in Madison, Wisconsin. Funds raised through the event are directed by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association towards education and research supporting the dairy industry.

During the past three decades the Cheese Auction has raised $1.75 million for investments in the industry's future. The 2024 Auction raised $200,000 that supported the following programs:

  • WCMA’s five student scholarships for dairy processors’ and supplier members’ families were enhanced to $5,000 per student.

  • WCMA announced the formation of a new fund at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to support dairy operations, training staff, and research at the new dairy pilot plant — the Wuethrich Family/Grassland Dairy Center of Excellence – and provided a seed donation of $90,000.

  • WCMA announced a $100,000 seed gift dedicated to the Center for Dairy Research – the start of a new fund supporting research, equipment, graduate students and other Center goals.

Mohawk Technology's dairy customers regularly support the Cheese Auction with donations of their award-winning cheeses. The combined efforts of Dairy Manufacturers, Dairy Processors and Suppliers continue re-investment in the industry's future.
